On Thursday, December 26, 2024, and Friday, December 27, 2024, East 7th Street between Cardinal Drive and Bayou Lane will be closed to vehicular traffic. Onshore Construction and Entergy will be performing underground work to run power.

Starting today, Wednesday, December 11, 2024, the left southbound lane of Canal Boulevard at 6th Street will be closed until further notice for the road to be repaired due to the water main repair that occurred last month.

The City of Thibodaux would like to update the public of a traffic light outage at the intersection of Canal Boulevard and 5th Street. The City’s Public Works Department is waiting for the arrival of the new traffic signal. In the meantime, the Thibodaux Police Department will install larger, flashing stop signs. Motorists are asked to continue to use caution in the area.
