On Monday, November 4, 2024, the intersection of Canal Boulevard and Lafaye Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic. The contractor is reapplying blacktop to the intersection due to wear from the roundabout construction project.

The City of Thibodaux would like to inform the public of a traffic light outage at the intersection of Canal Boulevard and 5th Street. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution in the area and to treat the intersection as a four-way stop. Temporary stop signs have been placed at the intersection.
