City of Thibodaux - City Office Closure: Mardi Gras Holiday

In observance of Mardi Gras Holidays, City of Thibodaux offices will be closed on Monday, March 3, 2025, and Tuesday, March 4, 2025. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned days. Trash collection service will not run on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Residents normally serviced on Tuesday will be recovered on their next service day, Friday, March 7, 2025.

The road repair work on the southbound lane of Canal Boulevard at 6th Street has been completed and is now reopened to vehicular traffic.

Starting today, Monday, February 10, 2025, contractors will begin overlay work throughout North Thibodaux. There will be intermittent lane closures while they are making the repairs. Motorists are urged to use caution and be mindful of work crews in the area.
