From Wednesday, March 19, 2025, through Friday, March 21, 2025, Huey P. Stockstill will begin overlay work on Coulon Road. There will be intermittent lane closures while they perform the mill and overlay of the road. Motorists are urged to use caution and be mindful of work crews in the area.

Sage Construction has begun the construction of the Downtown Pavilion Improvements. Construction is anticipated to last 4 months and be completed by early July. The current traffic patterns at this location are permanent with the portion of West 2nd Street pictured below being closed.

In observance of Mardi Gras Holidays, City of Thibodaux offices will be closed on Monday, March 3, 2025, and Tuesday, March 4, 2025. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned days. Trash collection service will not run on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Residents normally serviced on Tuesday will be recovered on their next service day, Friday, March 7, 2025.
