In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, City of Thibodaux offices will close on Monday, January 20, 2025. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned day. Trash collection schedule will not be interrupted. Normal operating hours will resume on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14, 2025, the left southbound lane of Canal Boulevard at 6th Street will be closed until further notice while the road is repaired from a previous water main repair.

Due to heavy wind conditions, the temporary stop signs at the intersection of Canal Boulevard and 5th Street have been removed in all directions. Chief Bryan Zeringue would like to remind motorist that per Louisiana Law, this intersection should still be treated as a four way stop.
