City of Thibodaux - Canal Boulevard Roundabout Completion

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) and LA Contracting have completed the roundabout on Canal Boulevard. All lanes are open and the roundabout if fully functional. The City of Thibodaux would like to thank DOTD and LA Contracting for their dedication and hard work as well as the residents of Thibodaux for being patient during the roundabout construction. The City of Thibodaux will continue to publish educational flyers and videos to ensure the public understands the proper use of roundabouts.

Starting today, Thursday, November 14, 2024, the intersection of Sanders Street and Iris Street will be limited to one lane due to the road and a catch basin needing repair. Motorists are urged to use caution in the area.

In observance of Veterans Day, City of Thibodaux offices will close on Monday, November 11, 2024. Additionally, the Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on this day. The trash collection schedule will not be interrupted. Normal operating hours will resume on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
