City of Thibodaux - Lafourche Parish Boil Water Advisory

The Lafourche Parish Water District No. 1 issued a boil water advisory for all of St. Charles and Bayou Blue. These areas include portions of Thibodaux and Raceland in communities between Lafourche Crossing and the South Coast Gas Office (on both sides of Bayou Lafourche), in Raceland along and adjoining HWY 182, HWY 652, HWY 653, and the North Service Road, as well as the entire Bayou Blue community.
This boil water advisory does NOT affect residents living in the City of Thibodaux, and the water is safe.

UPDATE: The date of the road closure has been changed from Tuesday, July 7, 2026, to Thursday, July 9, 2026.
On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the intersection of Ardoyne Drive and Bowie Road will be closed to vehicular traffic from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. This road closure is being issued in order to accommodate the crosswalk to be painted.

In observance of Independence Day, City of Thibodaux offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned days. Trash collection schedule will not be interrupted. Normal operating hours for City of Thibodaux offices will resume on Monday, July 6, 2026.
