City of Thibodaux - Storm Debris Collection Update

City of Thibodaux Storm Debris Collection efforts are continuing. The City is currently in its 3rd and final pass for debris collection which is estimated to be completed by Friday, December 17, 2021. The City’s debris collection contractor’s objective is to have all debris generated as a result of Hurricane Ida collected before their crews leave. If you still have storm debris that has not been collected, please call our EOC office (985-446-7237) to ensure that your address is placed on our collection map. We ask that our citizens refrain from placing debris curbside that was not generated as a result of the storm. Any debris not collected by the completion date may become the responsibility of the property owner and/or contractor to dispose of. The City of Thibodaux appreciates everyone’s cooperation as we continue our Hurricane Ida recovery efforts.

The City of Thibodaux’s Parks and Recreation Department would like to offer a volunteering opportunity for those who are interested in participating in the Christmas in the Park event. The City of Thibodaux’s Parks and Recreation Department would like to announce the opening of Christmas in the Park that starts tonight, Wednesday, December 1, 2021, and ends on Friday, December 31, 2021. Christmas in the Park is located at 151 Peltier Park Drive Thibodaux, LA 70301 and is open from 6 PM to 9 PM for viewing.
