The City of Thibodaux is on the sixth and final pass through the City for storm debris pickup. All debris must be placed curbside in order to be picked up. Residents are reminded after this pass, you are responsible for debris on your property or placed curbside. As you interact with contractors, ensure they understand their responsibility to include debris pickup in the cost of work completed. It is to your benefit to have a paragraph that states the contractor must haul off all construction, demolition and/or vegetation debris. The City will continue to collect debris that is less than two cubic yards as part of normal trash pickup.

City Office Closure: Christmas Holiday

In observance of Christmas, City of Thibodaux offices will close on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 11:00 AM and will remain closed on Friday, December 24, 2021, for Christmas Eve. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned days. Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, December 27, 2021. Pelican Waste and Debris will NOT be collecting garbage on Christmas Day, Saturday, December 25, 2021.
