On Monday, February 20, 2023, the intersection of Ridgefield Road and Isabelle Place will be closed to vehicular traffic from approximately 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The City of Thibodaux’s Public Works Department will be working on a sewer tap in the area.

On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, LA. DOTD will be conducting maintenance on the bridge located on LA 648 (Percy Brown Road), which is located between Ardoyne Drive & North Acadia Road. This will be a complete shutdown of both Northbound and Southbound lanes of travel. The closure will be put in place at 7:30 a.m. and remain until 4:30 p.m. Motorists will be forced to use an alternate route such as Ardoyne Drive and/or N. Acadia Road.

Mayor Kevin Clement wishes to encourage those attending Mardi Gras parades in Thibodaux this weekend to bag up any trash they generate before leaving the area they occupy to view the parade. Please be reminded that glass bottles of any kind are not allowed on public property along the parade route, and all pets brought to parades must remain on a leash at all times. Please help us keep Mardi Gras a clean and safe experience for everyone.
