Thursday, May 11, 2023, the City of Thibodaux’s Public Works Department will have a temporary water closure along Laura Drive and Rue Loudon area from approximately 7 AM to 8 AM in preparation for a scheduled water closure that is scheduled for Friday, May 12, 2023, from approximately 7 AM to 11 AM to tie in new water lines in the area.

The Thibodaux Firemen’s Fair gates will open today at 11:00 am and rides will begin at 12:00 pm weather permitting. Also, today’s musical entertainment will run as scheduled.

Today, St. Patrick St. between Rue Loudun and Rienzi Dr. will be closed to vehicular traffic until further notice. The City of Thibodaux’s Public Works Department will be working on water line repair.
