On Monday, February 26, 2024, Jackson Street southbound will be shifted to portions of the new roadway. The remaining lanes will continue in the same traffic pattern they are in now throughout the next phase.

We apologize for any inconvenience as we proceed with this critical city improvement project.

The road closure at the intersection of Hickory Street and Parish Road has been extended to Monday, February 19, 2024, due to needing additional time to perform the drainage work in the area.

City of Thibodaux - Mosquito Spraying

The City of Thibodaux has allocated additional funding for the spraying of mosquitos within the City limits due to the unusual amount this time of year. Yesterday, February 15, 2024, mosquito trucks sprayed Zone 35. Spraying is dependent upon the weather and cannot take place during rain events or if the temperature is below 50 degrees due to EPA regulations. The remaining zones (Zones 33, 34, and 36) will be sprayed early next week.
