On December 27, 2023, the intersection of Hickory Street and Juniper Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from approximately 8am until further notice. Drainage work is being performed at the intersection and vehicular traffic is asked to avoid the area during this time frame.

In observance of the Christmas Holiday, City of Thibodaux offices will close on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM and will resume on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Also, in observance of the New Year Holiday, City of Thibodaux offices will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024, and will resume normal operation on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned days. Pelican Waste and Debris will not be operating on Monday, December 25, 2023, or Monday, January 1, 2024. All residents that have a Monday/Tuesday pickup schedule will have their service resumed on the following Thursday.

Starting, December 18, 2023, through December 20, 2023, the intersection of Ardoyne Drive and Colonel Drive will be closed while drainage work is being performed for the Coastal Center project. Vehicular traffic is asked to avoid the area during this time frame since there will be no access to this portion of the street until Calecas Hall.
