Today, Monday, February 5, 2024, and tomorrow, Tuesday, February 6, 2024, the intersection of Hickory Street and Ash Road will be closed to vehicular traffic while drainage work is being performed in the area.

On Monday, February 5, 2024, a consultant has a crew scheduled to mobilize to survey utilities in both northbound and southbound lanes of the Canal Boulevard Bridge. Intermittent lane closures will occur throughout the day and motorists are to use caution in the area.

Due to the heavy rainfall, the City of Thibodaux has sand and sandbags available at the Public Works Barn, located at 219 Henry S. Thibodaux Street, for residents to come fill as needed. Please contact Public Works at 985-446-7223 with any questions.
