On Monday, February 5, 2024, a consultant has a crew scheduled to mobilize to survey utilities in both northbound and southbound lanes of the Canal Boulevard Bridge. Intermittent lane closures will occur throughout the day and motorists are to use caution in the area.

Due to the heavy rainfall, the City of Thibodaux has sand and sandbags available at the Public Works Barn, located at 219 Henry S. Thibodaux Street, for residents to come fill as needed. Please contact Public Works at 985-446-7223 with any questions.

Currently, the traffic lights at the intersection of Audubon Avenue and North/South Acadia Road are inoperable and flashing red. Residents are urged to avoid the area if possible until a contractor can come out to fix the lights.
