As part of the agreement between Commissioner Jay Dardenne and Commissioner Mike Strain, critical employees of Thibodaux and Lafourche Parish shall be granted access to and use of the gas dispensers located behind the City of Thibodaux’s Public Works Barn at 1219 Henry S Thibodaux Street, Thibodaux, LA 70301.
The intent of the gas dispenser is to provide workers with the opportunity to fuel their personal vehicles and gas cans in order to minimize the amount of time they spend waiting for fuel. It is also designed to help them have fuel for generators while off duty.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE: Recipients must be a first responders, government worker, medical worker, or Nicholls faculty and staff with a valid ID card or credentials reflecting one of the above professions.
WHEN: Starting Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
WHERE: City of Thibodaux Public Works Department (1219 Henry S Thibodaux Street, Thibodaux, LA 70301)
Each person will be allowed to have 35 gallons of fuel at one time.
