The City of Thibodaux has CANCELLED the Technical Records Clerk written test scheduled for Tuesday, January 16, 2024, due to the Winter Storm forecasted by the Weather Services. The Technical Records Clerk written test has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Recreation Building at Peltier Park for applicants who have previously applied. The Civil Service Department will send emails to all applicants who qualified to test for the position notifying them of the cancellation and rescheduling.

In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, City of Thibodaux offices will close on Monday, January 15, 2024. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned day. Trash collection schedule will not be interrupted. Normal operating hours will resume on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

From Wednesday, January 10, 2024, through Thursday, January 11, 2024; the intersection of Hickory Street and Apricot Street will be closed to vehicular traffic while contractors replace culverts in the area for the City’s drainage project.
