Pulling together when faced with challenges is nothing new to Louisianans. We know it’s imperative that we share knowledge and resources to help everyone get through these uncertain times. It’s why we created a hub of resources for small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, including information on the benefits made available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. We’ve weathered many storms, and together, we’ll weather this one too.
The hub of resources can be found here: entergy.com/lasmbiz.
Businesses applying for financial assistance available through the CARES Act will be asked to provide a copy of their most recent utility bill.
- A copy of your most recent utility bill can be obtained by logging into myAccount.
- If you don’t have an account, you can register here: https://myaccount.entergy.com/eplus/eplus.portal (Entergy account number needed).
- If you have trouble registering, need your account number or need additional assistance, call 1-800-ENTERGY and an agent will assist you with the registration process or obtain a mailed copy of your bill.

In the press release dated March 30, 2020, Entergy urges the public to stay away from utility employees and contractors working in the field. Social distancing of six feet is but one reason to keep a safe distance from crews. Worksites can have any number of hidden dangers and distracting crews can cause accidents to happen.
Customers looking for information on Entergy’s response to the pandemic should visit the Entergy Newsroom. Customers looking for individual account information should visit entergy.com/myaccountonline to check account status or to make a payment. Customers may also call 1-800-ENTERGY.

In order for the focus to remain on the health and safety of their associates, customers, and communities, Walmart will begin taking additional measures in their stores due to the continuous development of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Starting Saturday, April 4, 2020, the following key measures will be in place in all U.S. stores:
- Stores will now allow no more than five customers for every 1,000 square feet at a given time (roughly 20% of a store’s capacity).
- To manage the store capacity restriction, associates at a store will mark a queue at a single-entry door (in most cases the Grocery entrance) and direct arriving customers there, where they will be admitted one-by-one and counted.
- Earlier this week, stores began using a single entrance and a single exit at all locations. This is designed to help prevent people from entering and exiting the same door at the same time.
- We have also established queue lines that are staffed with associates and emphasized social distancing signage to remind customers how important it is to stay 6 feet apart.
- We will institute a one-way movement through our aisles in a number of stores by using floor markers and direction from associates.
