City of Thibodaux COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

The City of Thibodaux has completed the fifth Unified Command Group (UCG) meeting where the Mayor made executive decisions regarding the City of Thibodaux. Another UCG meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2020. In order to maximize coordination of city service in this fluid time, the City of Thibodaux has transitioned to 2 UCG meetings per week. In addition, the City has established some additional measures for city services. The City will make a decision on summer Parks and Recreation Programs on April 30, 2020. The City Council will utilize teleconferencing for council meetings starting April 7, 2020. The COT is limiting select departmental employees to essential work in 3 hour periods.
We remain committed to getting through the COVID-19 outbreak in the best possible fashion that supports our residents, businesses, and institutions. We will get through this TOGETHER! For the most accurate information refer to CDC.gov, LDH.LA.gov or the City of Thibodaux website.

Pulling together when faced with challenges is nothing new to Louisianans. We know it’s imperative that we share knowledge and resources to help everyone get through these uncertain times. It’s why we created a hub of resources for small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, including information on the benefits made available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. We’ve weathered many storms, and together, we’ll weather this one too.

Businesses applying for financial assistance available through the CARES Act will be asked to provide a copy of their most recent utility bill.
- A copy of your most recent utility bill can be obtained by logging into myAccount.
- If you don’t have an account, you can register here: https://myaccount.entergy.com/eplus/eplus.portal (Entergy account number needed).
- If you have trouble registering, need your account number or need additional assistance, call 1-800-ENTERGY and an agent will assist you with the registration process or obtain a mailed copy of your bill.
