Today, Mayor Tommy Eschete made a decision to move the City of Thibodaux into phase three of the City re-opening plan. The City of Thibodaux will enter phase three on September 16, 2020. The City of Thibodaux phase three is in compliance with all directives set by Governor John Bel Edwards and Lafourche Parish President Archie Chaisson.
Here is the information on the City phase three:
- City Parks and Recreation will have organized fall activities with restrictions as set by the City
- Harang Auditorium will resume organized events with restrictions as set by the City
- City buildings return to normal business hours with restrictions as set by the City
- State fire marshal capacity limits will be situational and applied by Department Heads as required
- City Council Chambers meetings remain limited to 30 people with restrictions as set by the City
- All physical meetings will adhere to the state fire marshal capacity limits
- The public using City programs must agree to all guidelines as set by the City
- Masks are required by the public in all City facilities and at organized events and activities.
