City Office Closures: Christmas and New Year’s

In observance of Christmas, City of Thibodaux offices will be closed Thursday, December 24, 2020, and Friday, December 25, 2020. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned days. Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, December 28, 2020. Trash collection will operate as scheduled on Christmas Eve, December 24th, and will not operate on Christmas Day, December 25th. The normal trash collection schedule will resume on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
In observance of New Year’s, City of Thibodaux offices will close at noon on Thursday, December 31, 2020, and will remain closed on Friday, January 1, 2021. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned days. Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, January 4, 2021. Trash collection will operate as scheduled on New Year’s Eve, December 31st, and will not operate on New Year’s Day, January 1st. The normal trash collection schedule will resume on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Sewer line repairs at the intersection of Ridgefield Road and Young Place will continue through Wednesday, December 16, 2020, and one lane of traffic will be available for motor vehicles.

Today, December 14, 2020, as well as tomorrow Tuesday, December 15, 2020, the intersection of Ridgefield Road and Young Place will be down to one lane of traffic from approximately 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM due to sewer line repairs.
