Currently, the City of Thibodaux is responding to a water line leak at the intersection of Coulon Road and Singleton Street. The water in the area will be shut off for approximately an hour, so the repair has been made.

Road Closure: Intersection of Ledet Street and East 12th Street

Starting December 19, 2020, the intersection of Ledet Street and East 12th Street will be partially closed, but vehicular traffic will be able to get through the area. From December 20th to December 25th, the intersection will be closed to vehicular traffic in order for the City to install new culverts as part of a drainage project. On December 26th, the intersection will be reopened.

In observance of Christmas, City of Thibodaux offices will be closed Thursday, December 24, 2020, and Friday, December 25, 2020. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned days. Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, December 28, 2020. Trash collection will operate as scheduled on Christmas Eve, December 24th, and will not operate on Christmas Day, December 25th. The normal trash collection schedule will resume on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
In observance of New Year’s, City of Thibodaux offices will close at noon on Thursday, December 31, 2020, and will remain closed on Friday, January 1, 2021. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned days. Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, January 4, 2021. Trash collection will operate as scheduled on New Year’s Eve, December 31st, and will not operate on New Year’s Day, January 1st. The normal trash collection schedule will resume on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
