On Monday, April 12, 2021, the City of Thibodaux will be installing a new sewer line addition on Ledet Street from South Acadia Road to Iris Street. This section of Ledet Street will be closed from approximately 7 AM to 5 PM.

The City of Thibodaux and Thibodaux Regional Health System would like to announce a joint COVID vaccine event to provide vaccines to our residents. The one dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine will be administered. Residents can make an appointment by calling (985) 493-4464. Residents can make an appointment from now to the day of the event.

The first event is scheduled for April 8, 2021, from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Harang Auditorium and is open to all Louisiana residents above the age of 18. Residents should enter from the Northside of the Harang Auditorium, follow the traffic flow and move to the rear of the auditorium. This is a drive-thru event with Thibodaux Regional Health System Personnel administering the vaccines in the operations tent area. Residents will receive the vaccine in their vehicles.

The City of Thibodaux’s Park and Recreation Department is offering a variety of mini-camps for children to enjoy! Each week will have a theme to primarily focus on, such as sports, arts and crafts, as well as enrichment classes. Registration opens on Monday, April 5, 2021, and must be done in person only at the Peltier Park Recreation building.
