Residents, businesses, and contractors are reminded that building permits are still required for repairs, but fees will be waived until further notice.
Contractors not based
in Thibodaux but are doing work within the city are required to register with
Thibodaux Public Works. Registration fees for contractor registrations are also
being waived until further notice
Permits and
contractor registrations help property owners ensure that they are utilizing
licensed contractors and that the work being performed is to code for the
safety of habitants and neighbors.
