On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, and Thursday, November 10, 2022, the intersection of St. Patrick Highway and North 11th Street will be closed to vehicular traffic in order for Byron E. Talbot to perform drainage work. Access to North 11th Street can be gained through Lafourche Drive.

The Civil Service Board Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2022, has been canceled. There are no agenda items to present to the Civil Service Board and the Appeal Hearing for Mr. Paul Thibodeaux has been continued to January 10, 2023, Civil Service Board Meeting.

The City of Thibodaux will soon be conducting our annual telephone survey to assess the awareness and understanding of those who live along our natural gas pipelines concerning safety and the safe use of natural gas. We will start placing pre-calls on November 11 and start making actual survey calls on November 14 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. If you receive one of these calls, please answer the call and complete the survey so that the City of Thibodaux can report back to the federal Office of Pipeline Safety that our efforts to educate those who live along the pipeline about the safe use of natural gas have been successful. We will also use this data to help us improve on our future messages.
