Mayor Kevin Clement would like to update the public on the ongoing efforts related to the Tiger Drive Bridge repairs. On Monday, September 11, 2023, Python Corporation will mobilize its construction crew to begin repairs to the bridge. Initial plans and specs provided by Python do not call for any bridge closures. The City of Thibodaux will continue to update the public as needed on the progress of the project during construction.

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, Entergy has scheduled a planned outage to replace a pole that will potentially affect the following areas: Oak Lane, Government Circle, Barbier Avenue, and Cedar Street. The repairs will take place between 7 AM and 1 PM. The residents who will be impacted by this outage will receive a call from Entergy to be notified.

Starting today, September 5, 2023, contractors will begin tying in water services to all of the dead-end streets of Coulon Road. Work on this project will be performed between 8 AM and 4 PM for the next 8 days. Residents may experience low water pressure during their working hours for this project.
