City Offices to Close in Observance of the Christmas Holiday

In observance of the Christmas Holiday, City of Thibodaux offices will close at 11:00 AM on Christmas Eve, Tuesday,December 24, 2019, and Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2019.
The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed towalkers on the aforementioned days. Pelican Waste & Debris will beoperating on Christmas Eve, but NOT on Christmas Day. Normal
operating hours will resume on Thursday, December 26, 2019.

On December 11, 2019, the City of Thibodaux and contractors will be repairing a water leak located at the corner of East 6th Street and Canal Boulevard. Residents in the one block area from East 6th Street to East 5th Street may experience low to no water pressure from the hours of 8:00 AM to approximately 2:00 PM.
The repair work will be contained to the shoulder of the road; however, intermittent lane closure of the Canal Boulevard northbound lane may occur. Motorist are urged to use caution in the area.

On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, the northbound lane of
Jackson Street will be intermittently closed from 6:30 AM to approximately 4:00
PM to allow the City and contractors to repair a broken sewer line. The northbound
lane will be partially blocked off and motorist are urged to use caution in the area.
