The City of Thibodaux’s Department of Housing and Community Development has been awarded $91,827 additional funding through the CARES Act (Coronavirus, Relief, and Economic Security Act) under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). In order to utilize this funding, a public meeting must be conducted. Due to the restrictions for public meetings as a result of COVID the Public Meeting will be held via Zoom. Attachment: Unified Command Group Situational Briefing for COVID-19 as of May 5, 2020

The City of Thibodaux just completed the thirteenth Unified Command Group (UCG) meeting where the Mayor made executive decisions regarding the City of Thibodaux. The COT will continue to monitor the event, make all decisions through the COT’s UCG, and will transition to one meeting each week. The COT will purchase and install glass partitions with a pass-through to create a barrier between employees and the public (preparing for phase three). The COT has modified the parameters for a phased approach for re-opening (changes to phase one and two). The COT will assess phase two and make a decision on entering phase two at the May 12, 2020 UCG
