City of Thibodaux - Winter Storm Curfew

Due to the
icy impacts from the Winter Storm, the City of Thibodaux and Lafourche Parish
Government officials have enacted a parish-wide curfew including the Thibodaux
City Limits effective immediately beginning at 8 AM on Tuesday, January 21,
2025. This curfew will stay in place as long as icy conditions remain on the
roads. Residents are asked to shelter in place and stay off the roadways to
keep roadways open for emergency personnel to respond to emergencies. All
businesses should be closed by 8 AM today so that employees can make it home
before the icy conditions become worse. Thibodaux Police Department personnel
will be out enforcing the curfew, but a grace period will be allowed for business
workers to return home. Essential personnel should carry their IDs or placards displaying that they are indeed essential personnel.
