The City of Thibodaux’s Public Works
Department kindly asks residents to refrain from parking their vehicles in a
manner that would block or cover their water and natural gas meters. City
meter readers have been unable to read some meters due to vehicles blocking
them. This could result in numerous utility billing issues.
Unfortunately, if this continues to be an issue, vehicles may be towed at
the owner’s expense to acquire access to the obstructed meters.
