City of Thibodaux – Suspended: Emergency Response Fuel Station

The City of Thibodaux would like to thank both Commissioner
Jay Dardenne and Commissioner Mike Strain for their initiative to supply essential
employees in our community with fuel for their cars and generators. At this time, the initial delivery of fuel
has run out at the City of Thibodaux’s Public Works Barn and there are no more
deliveries planned to be scheduled in the future. The City of Thibodaux would like to thank our
partners at Chevron for their donation that helped approximately 451 essential
employees receive 8,787 gallons of fuel.
Now that many of the fuel stations in Thibodaux are opening back up, we believe
areas in South Lafourche would better benefit from an Emergency Response Fuel
Point. The City of Thibodaux is
committed to working with the Commissioners to get this set up for South
Lafourche as soon as possible.
