The City of Thibodaux has
been diligently working with Entergy on the restoration of power. It has
been one of the City’s key priorities since the passing of the storm.
Today Entergy was able to provide power to some city infrastructure
sites. The primary site is the city water plant. Our city water
plant has continued to provide fresh water to our residents and the thousands
of contractors located in town since the beginning of this storm. The
next priorities for the city are the hospital and the two city sewer
plants. Simultaneously the City of Thibodaux will work with Entergy to
power residents, businesses and organizations as soon as safely possible.
