Last week to register your children for the 2003 Arts & Crafts summer classes… Classes are for boys and girls ages 5-12.  Registration for both sessions of the 2003 year will be at the Peltier Recreation office May 5 – 30, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to Noon & 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Click here for more information.

  It’s time for Summer…Swimming Lessons are available at the Municipal Pool at 737 Goode Street.  Lessons are for 3 weeks in June & 3 weeks in July for ages 4 and up.  Registration for these sessions will be held from Monday, June 2 through Friday, June 6 at the Recreation office from 9:00 a.m. to NOON and at the Municipal Pool from 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Click here for more registration information.
  Soccer Camp in Thibodaux this summer!  The Parks & Recreation Department will start accepting registration for the 2003 P.A.R.D. Soccer Camp from Tuesday, June 10 to Saturday, July 19.  Katie Bilello, former NCAA soccer player for McNeese University, will direct the camp.  Click here for more information.

The LSU Interior Design class presentation - Interior and Façade Designs of Main Street is available for businesses and interested persons to view.  Please contact 446-7606 for more information.

  Join the fun!  The Farmer’s Market is open!  The market is open every Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. downtown Thibodaux on LA 1 and Maronge Street.  Locally grown produce, fruits, vegetables, fresh flowers, plants, herbs, Des Allemands seafood, baked goods, soaps, jams, jellies, honey, goat cheese and homemade breads will be available for purchase.  Local chefs will be conducting cooking demonstrations.  There is still space at our market for new and innovative farmers and vendors.  If you are interested in a booth at the market, please call Joyce Benoit at 448-1474.
