CITY OF THIBODAUX PROPERTY
TAXES |

City of Thibodaux Property Tax bills are mailed to the
owner of record by December 1st of each year. Tax bills
are due December 31st and become delinquent January 1st.
By law, interest must be paid on delinquent taxes at a
rate of 1% per month or any part of a month thereof. |

Taxes may be requested and paid by your MORTGAGE
COMPANY. Any tax notice requested by a mortgage company
will be noted on the back of your bill. Please check
with your MORTGAGE COMPANY to see if they are paying the
taxes before you remit payment. |

Taxes can be paid in one of the
following ways: |

Payments can be paid in person at one of the following
locations:
City Hall
310 W. 2nd St.
Thibodaux, LA 70301 |

a. Tax & License Service Window (Room 104)
b. Utility Drive-up Window (only accepted with bill
until Dec 31st)
c. Night Deposit boxes located in front of City Hall or
Thibodaux Police Department (both checked at 8:00 am
daily) |

Office Hours:
Monday thru Friday
8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
Payments received after 4:00 PM are credited the next
business day.
Property Tax payments can be made with cash, check or
money order.
Please do not include any other monies owed to the City
with your payment.
