NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BOARD  OF  ADJUSTMENTS  MEETING
THIBODAUX,  LOUISIANA
Wednesday, July 27, 2005

The Board of Adjustments will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 5:30 P.M. at 310 West 2nd Street in the City Council Meeting Room (upstairs City Hall Building), Thibodaux, Louisiana, concerning the following:

OLD BUSINESS:
To consider a request by Perry Brown to vary 2’ on each side yard setback requirement of 5’, to vary 7’ from rear yard setback requirement of 10’ and to vary 1’ from front yard setback requirement of 20’ in order to construct duplex on lot located at 106 Washington Street (R-2 District).
NEW BUSINESS:

Item 1:  To consider a request by Melvin Elliott, Jr. to vary from the maximum fence height of 30” to 72” within front yard in order to construct chain link and wooden fence at 1003 St. Mary Street (C-2 District).

Item 2:  To consider a request by Windy and Chris Rachel to vary from the maximum fence height of 30” to 72” within 20’ front yard setback in order to construct wooden fence at 803 Bayou Lane (R-1 District).

Item 3:  To consider a request by Acadia Land Surveying, LLC on behalf of Habitat for Humanity to vary from the minimum lot size requirement of 5,000 sq. ft. to 3,680 sq. ft. in order to subdivide property located on corner of Midland Drive and Bobby Street (R-3 District).

Any other matters properly brought before the Board.
