NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BOARD  OF  ADJUSTMENTS  MEETING
THIBODAUX,  LOUISIANA
Wednesday, August 31 2005

The Board of Adjustments will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at 5:30 P.M. at 310 West 2nd Street in the City Council Meeting Room (upstairs City Hall Building), Thibodaux, Louisiana, concerning the following:

OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS:

Item 1:  To consider a request by Kojis & Sons Signs, Inc. on behalf of Burger King #1442 to add logo to channel letter sign on raceway at 206 East 1st  Street (R-2 District). 

Item 2:  To consider a request by Chris Ledet Homes to vary 6’ from rear yard setback requirement of 10’ and to vary 4’ from side yard setback requirement of 5’ in order to construct pool house at 714 St. Philip Street (R-3 District). 

Item 3: To consider a request by Brad Albert to vary 10’ from front yard setback requirement of 20’ and to vary 5’ from side yard setback requirement of 5’ in order to construct addition to residence located at 1036 Jackson Street (R-3 District).  

Item 4:  To consider a request by David Waitz Engineering on behalf of Allen Cortez to vary from the frontage along the road right of way of 50’ and to vary 5’ from the side yard setback requirement of 5’ or a variance from the minimum lot size requirement of 5,000 sq. ft. in order to re-divide property located at 211 & 213 Alice Court (R-4 District). 

Item 5:  To consider a request by Ryan Rousse to install monument sign for three new tenants occupying space adjacent to Blockbuster without removing existing Blockbuster pylon sign at 408 N. Canal Boulevard (C-3 District).   

Item 6:  To consider a request by Rusty Savoie on behalf of Benjamin and Tiffany Hymel to open a dance studio within the existing structure located at 629 East First Street (R-1 District).

Any other matters properly brought before the Board.
