NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BOARD  OF  ADJUSTMENTS  MEETING
THIBODAUX,  LOUISIANA
Wednesday, January 28, 2004

The Board of Adjustments will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at 5:30 P.M. at 310 West 2nd Street in the City Council Meeting Room (upstairs City Hall Building), Thibodaux, Louisiana, concerning the following:

NEW BUSINESS:

Item 1:  To consider a request by Rebecca Ponvelle to open a one operator beauty salon at this time with possibility of becoming a two operator salon at a later date at 1006 St. Patrick Highway (R-3 District).

Item 2: To consider a request by Lynn and Bridget Daigle to operate a counseling service business out of an office in their home located at 112 Vallery Street (R-3 District).

Item 3:  To consider a request by Bayou Sign Company on behalf of Ground Pat’i to be allowed two additional 24” x 19.5” channel letter signs on building to be located on the corner of Glenwild Drive and North Canal Boulevard (C-3 District).

Item 4:  To consider a request by Acadia Land Surveying on behalf of Habitat for Humanity to vary from the minimum lot frontage of 50’ to 37.60’ and to vary from the minimum lot size of 5,000’ to 3,570’ in order to re-subdivide two lots on North 10th Street (R-3 District).

Item 5:  To consider a request by Neal Swanner to vary from rear yard setback requirement of 10’ to 3’ 5 ½” and to vary from building separation requirement of 5’ to 3’ 5 ½” and to vary from 50% lot coverage in order to construct a workout room at residence located at 503 Olive Street (R-3 District).

Any other matters properly brought before the Board.
