“Drug Arrest”

     After the Bureau of NarcoticsDivision of the Thibodaux Police Department received information of illegaldrug activity occurring at 1828 Badt Avenue Apartment “D” in Thibodaux, an undercover operation wasinitiated.  On Monday, March 27, 2006, the Bureau of Narcotics arrived atthe above address and made contact with Michael Stafford Jr. (20 year old, B/M of 1937 Pailet Streetin Harvey, La.). Stafford cooperated with the Detectives inallowing them consent to search.  The search was successful in thatmarijuana along with drug paraphernalia were confiscated inside theresidence.  Stafford was placed underarrest and charged with (1ct) Possession of Marijuana and (1ct) Possession ofDrug Paraphernalia.  Stafford was issueda misdemeanor summons with a pending court date.

     The Thibodaux Police Department askthat anyone having information concerning illegal drug activity to call, (985)446-3673(DOPE).  Remember, you can remain anonymous.
