In the early morning hours of Friday February 28, 2003 Detective Paul LaGraize of the Thibodaux Police Department’s Bureau of Narcotics preformed an undercover operation that led to one arrest.
During the course of the investigation, Detective LaGraize was informed that he could buy a certain amount of cocaine. The undercover deal was then set for later during the night.
Later, contact was made with the suspect who was identified as Peter Joel Little Age 19 of Gibson, LA arrived near the intersection of Canal Blvd. and Plantation Road where the deal was struck. At this time, Detective Paul LaGraize and Detective Fontenot took Mr. Little out of his vehicle and into custody.
Detective LaGraize then called for Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office K-9 Officer, Deputy Eddie Rodrigue. Deputy Rodrigue and K-9 “Cee” arrived shortly thereafter. Deputy Rodrigue and “Cee” did help in the search of the vehicle that led to finding approximately one ounce of suspected powered cocaine in the vehicle.
Mr. Little was then brought to the Thibodaux Police Department where he was booked for possession with the intent to distribute cocaine. Mr. Little was then transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center to await bond.
