Thibodaux Police Department Lt. Jimmy Barrios, a Louisiana Law Enforcement Sports Association board member, stated that he was pleased with the turnout for this year’s games.
Quote from Thibodaux Police Chief Craig Melancon, "This has been a nice event where we have been able to welcome approximately 200 police officers from across the state to compete in these games. Thibodaux Police Department Lt. Jimmy Barrios, a Louisiana Law Enforcement Sports Association board member, has informed me that the week has been very successful. This is an opportunity for police officers to come together to compete and relax, while at the same time increase networking capabilities so that law enforcement agencies from across the state can continue to maintain open lines of communications."
