NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BOARD  OF  ADJUSTMENTS  MEETING
THIBODAUX,  LOUISIANA
Wednesday, July 28, 2004

The Board of Adjustments will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 5:30 P.M. at 310 West 2nd Street in the City Council Meeting Room (upstairs City Hall Building), Thibodaux, Louisiana, concerning the following:

OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS:

Item 1:  To consider a request by Joel Voclain to vary from the minimum front yard requirement of 60’ to 50’ in order to be able to subdivide one lot into two lots at 215 Plantation Road (R-2 District).  

Item 2:  To consider a request by Debbie and David Heard to vary from the front yard setback requirement of 20’, if necessary, and request to open a drive-thru coffee shop on lot across from Burger King at 205 E. 1st Street (R-2 District). 

Item 3:  To consider a request by Carolyn James to be allowed to place an additional 16’ x 80’ mobile home on two lots with existing mobile homes and to vary from the front yard requirement of 20’ to 12’ in order to accommodate the additional mobile home requested at 204 Sanders Street (R-3 District).  

Item 4:  To consider a request by Willie Orgeron to vary from the front yard fence setback requirement of 20’ to 0’ on Narrow St. in order to replace existing chain link fencing with wooden fencing at 711 President Street (R-2  District). 

Item 5:  To consider a request by Hope Verrett to open a one operator beauty salon at present with the possibility of adding two additional operators at a later date at 905 Henderson Street (R-2 District).
Any other matters properly brought before the Board.
