NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BOARD  OF  ADJUSTMENTS  MEETING
THIBODAUX,  LOUISIANA
Wednesday, March 31, 2004

The Board of Adjustments will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 5:30 P.M. at 310 West 2nd Street in the City Council Meeting Room (upstairs City Hall Building), Thibodaux, Louisiana, concerning the following:

OLD BUSINESS:
Item 1: To consider a request by Tammy Blakeman to vary from rear yard setback requirement of 10’ to 3’ in order to construct pool house at 505 Blake Court (R-1 District).
NEW BUSINESS:

Item 1:  To consider a request by Aubrey Pitre to vary 7’ from front yard setback requirement of 10’ in order to construct a metal patio cover at residence located at 1510 Lynn Avenue (R-2 District).

Item 2:  To consider a request by Germaine Hawkins to replace mobile home on lot located at 1602 Ledet Street (R-3 District).

Item 3:  To consider a request by Duplantis Design Group, PC on behalf of Douglas Ber, DDS to vary 12’ from the front yard setback requirement of 20’ in order to replace existing storage shed  with  a  permanent  addition  to  his  office  located  at   511 Cardinal  Drive  (R-3 District).

Item 4:  To consider a request by Acadia Land Surveying on behalf of Habitat for Humanity to vary from the minimum front yard requirement of 50’ to 42.58’ for Lot 5-A,  42.81’ for Lot 6-A, and  43.03’ for  Lot 7-A  in order to  re-divide  3 lots into  4 lots on  Sanders Street  (R-3 District).

Item 5:  To consider a request by Patrick Porche to vary 5’ from side yard setback requirement of 5’ in order to construct a metal carport / shed at 1011 President Street (R-2 District).

Item 6: To consider a request by Maureen Spinella to vary 5’ from front yard setback requirement of 20’ in order to cover existing porch located at 306 Tiger Drive (R-2 District).

Any other matters properly brought before the Board.
